SUND was founded by Brian Desmond and Saf Elmansour.
Brian has over 20 years of experience in product management and UX design leadership. Most recently, he was the Head of Product at Antares Audio Technologies (Auto-Tune®), reporting to the CEO and our board as the most senior product executive.In previous roles, his work has garnered multiple awards, including 8 NAMM TEC Awards, 2 Emmys, and 1 Oscar.Brian cares deeply about employee coaching, professional development, and well-being. Outside of his formal roles, he's mentored Stanford University, General Assembly, and AIGA Boston students and founded a popular meetup group for product professionals in Boston.
6 languages, 4 continents, and 23+ years of strategic and hands-on marketing leadership with multinationals, Fortune 500 media groups, Grammy®-winning audio companies, and Silicon Valley tech start-ups. More recently, Saf was CMO at Antares Audio Technologies (Auto-Tune®).Right before he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship by the US Department of State, Saf founded his first start-up at age 24. Within the corporate world, he was responsible for the launch of over 35 products and services on 4 continents, and managed award-winning multi-cultural campaigns with top creative, media, and PR agencies.Saf thrives as a human-obsessed entrepreneur. He is a mentor at the gener8tor and the Audio Developer Conference. He works with brands and founders to envision innovative strategies, craft sustainable solutions, and create thought-provoking experiences at the intersection of design, technology, and psychology.
